Statistics

  1. When a game will be considered "Won"?

  1. Do I need to enter the Activation Code to play millions of game numbers for each game instead of only one predefined and unchangeable game number?

Yes. If you are playing the unactivated version of MahJong Suite, each game has only one predefined and unchangeable game number (shuffle) to play.

If you activate your copy of MahJong Suite 2020, each game will have millions of possible games to play.

To activate your copy of MahJong Suite 2020, please open the "Help" menu, "Activation Code" dialog box.

  1. On Windows XP, can I have a single list of players and statistics for all my users/accounts?

In the default installation, MahJong Suite sets up separate statistics and configuration data for each Windows XP user/account.
You can configure MahJong Suite to have single configuration and statistics data for all users/accounts.

  1. Install MahJong Suite in a folder accessible for all the users. For example: the default installation folder C:\Program Files\MahJong Suite.

  2. Open MahJong Suite, Tools menu, Options command. Click the "Advanced" button, "Store Folder" tab, click "Other Folder", "Browse" and point to a common folder where all the accounts have read and write privileges.
    For example in Windows XP:
    C:\Documents and settings\All Users\Shared Documents\MahJong Suite
(you have to create the sub-folder "MahJong Suite"); or C:\MyData\MahJong Suite
For example in Windows Vista or Windows 7: C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\MahJong Suite (you have to create the sub-folder "MahJong Suite"); or C:\MyData\MahJong Suite

  3. Press OK to confirm.

  1. When a game will be considered Won?

A game will be considered "Won" for statistics (you'll have clapping and the winning animation at the end of the game) if it is completed without any "Shuffles".
If one or more "Shuffles" are done, the game can be finished and the Score will be updated, but the game will be considered as "Lost" for Statistics.
