2. While playing, the program freezes or reboots (sometimes preceded by an error message).

Note: this is not a MahJong Suite-specific error, but is related to the software/hardware configuration. If MahJong Suite freezes, other games/programs will freeze with the same configuration.

To solve the problem:

1) First of all, restart your P.C. Sometimes, these strange errors are caused by a temporary conflict with some drivers or programs.

2) Some opened applications can create the problem.
Please close all open programs, then run MahJong Suite.

3) The problem can be related to the Video Card drivers.
You can check the web page of your Video Card manufacturer for updated drivers. To see the Video card you are using, open Start, Settings, Control Panel, Display,Settings tab, Advanced button, Adapter tab.

4) Some advanced video cards can create problems.
Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Display, Settings tab, Advanced button, Troubleshooting tab. Decrease the hardware acceleration to correct possible problems. Try all positions from "Full" to "None".

3. Windows 98/Me/NT/2000 - Message: Microsoft GDI+ library required to be installed.

You are using Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT or Windows 2000 and you get the message: "Exception in module MahJongSuite.exe [...] [...] requires the Microsoft GDI+ library to be installed."

To solve the problem, please install the Microsoft GDI+ library.

1) Click here to download the Microsoft GDI+ library and save the file to your desktop.

2) When the download is complete, double click the downloaded file to start the installation.

3) Install the the Microsoft GDI+ library in the MahJong Suite folder. The installation folder must be where MahJong Suite is installed (the default folder is: C:\Program Files\MahJong Suite).
