MahJong Type Rules

MahJong Suite is a tile-matching game. In a standard MahJong Solitaire game, there are 144 tiles. 

The object of the game is to remove all the tiles in pairs from the layout. The tiles to remove must be "free". 

A tile is free when:

• It is not covered at all by any other tile;

• There are no tiles touching it on the right or left side. This does not apply to the top or bottom of the tile.

The tiles to remove must be identical, except for the Seasons and the Flowers families. In these cases, all the Seasons tiles match one another and all the Flowers tiles match one another.

Memory-Up Type Rules

N' pairs of tiles are randomly dealt face down on the layout grid.
Your goal is to find and remove all the matching pairs of tiles.
You can uncover two tiles at a time by clicking on them in any order you wish.
When you find a pair, the tiles are automatically removed from the layout; otherwise they are turned face down. You win if you remove all the tiles and if your score is equal to the "score to win" or higher.

Scoring

• The game starts at: zero.

• 100 points are awarded for each pair matched.

• 20 points are deducted for each pair missed.

Game Won

• You win if you remove all the tiles and if your score is equal to the "score to win" or higher.
